Sometimes all it takes is knowing someone understands. Many teenagers suffer from depression, eating disorders, bipolar, etc. It is not something they can control and it is not easy to deal with. I have not been diagnosed with any of these problems, but believe me, I’ve been depressed. I’ve had problems. I’ve cried and did not know why. I may not have gone through everything or anything other people have, but there are times where I brake down and can’t help feeling awful. By the end of the day, I know everything is okay.
Sometimes it is hard to tell ourselves that life gets better, that it is not over, it is not the end of the world because we feel like it is. The people that don’t understand just think you’re complaining and that you’re doing all this for attention. Forget about them. Don not let them bring you down even more. Find someone who understands, who will do their best to help, who loves you despite your flaws. I know it’s not easy. That’s why I have typed all this-to say that I understand. I am here for you. I love you. I care. Whether you believe it or not-one person in your life that truly cares can make a difference.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Do not stop fighting to be happy. I know times are tough, but you have to push through. It will get better. You are not alone. Do not give up. I love you. If you need or want to talk please message me.
